“Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.” – Carl Jung
As a native Spanish speaker, I bring not only professional training but also personal experience into therapy. I have gone through the immigration process which leads me to understand how life can feel confusing, overwhelming, and painful. My style is gentle and open, and focused on building trust. I also want to know the full picture—not just what’s hard, but also your strengths, creativity, and what brings you joy. We can even use art in session, since creative expressions can sometimes help communicate what words cannot. Whatever you bring into therapy, you’ll be met with care, curiosity, and without judgment.
I work with all people including those with obsessive compulsive disorder, borderline personality, and trauma. Formally, my approach is termed: integrative, strengths-based, person-centered, and trauma-informed. This means that I have learned many ways to offer support, and I will combine them to fit your needs by collaborating with you. I want your voice, needs, and desires to matter more. I will also incorporate mindfulness, DBT, expressive arts, and somatic work into our sessions.
If you’re noticing patterns that no longer serve you or finding yourself reacting to situations in ways that feel difficult to understand, therapy can help you explore where these patterns come from. This may include identifying beliefs formed during childhood and understanding how past experiences influence your relationships, emotions, and choices today. Whether this is your first time in therapy or you’re returning, we can work together to better understand what you’re experiencing and identify ways to respond that feel more aligned with who you are now.
Healing takes time, and it’s not always a straight line. Therapy can help you develop greater self-awareness, find meaning, build healthier coping skills, and feel more connected and in control of your life. My goal is to help you explore, express, and grow at your own pace.

My Journey to Becoming a Therapist
Before becoming a therapist, I was an artist and art teacher. Helping people express themselves has always been important to me—especially when it is hard to find the words. My background as an artist continues to shape the way I view creativity as a powerful tool for self-exploration and healing.
I have supported people of all ages—children, teens, and adults—working through trauma, complex relationships, anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, substance use, and boundary setting. I have worked with both individuals and groups, always with compassion and respect.
I bring all of these experiences into my work as a therapist. I believe we all have the capacity to heal, grow, and create meaningful change in our lives. I would be honored to support you as you discover your strengths, reconnect with yourself, and move toward the life you want.
What People Are Saying
“I think the experience was great! I was a first timer to therapy, and I found it helpful for talking through and being introspective about myself and my ideas!”
