The Heart of My Work

“Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.” – Carl Jung

As a native Spanish speaker who has gone through the immigration process myself, I understand how life can feel confusing, overwhelming, or painful. I bring not just professional training, but also personal experience into therapy. My style is gentle, open, and focused on building trust. I want to help you understand what’s happening in your life and find healthier, more peaceful ways to deal with it.

You don’t have to go through this alone. Whether this is your first time in therapy or you’re starting again, I’ll be here to support you. I want to know the full picture—not just what’s hard, but also your strengths, creativity, and what brings you joy. When you’re ready, we can even use art in session, since it can sometimes say things that words can’t. Whatever you bring into therapy, you’ll be met with care—not judgment.

Healing takes time, and it’s not always a straight line. But therapy can help you grow, find meaning, and feel more in control of your life. I’ll be here for you as that process unfolds.

My Journey to Becoming a Therapist

Before I became a therapist, I was an artist and a teacher. Helping people express themselves has always been important to me—especially when it’s hard to talk.

I earned my first master’s degree in fine arts from Pratt Institute. While earning my second master’s in Art Therapy from NYU, I trained at Bellevue Hospital’s psychiatric unit and in shelters for migrants across New York City. I’ve supported people of all ages—children, teens, and adults—working through trauma, anxiety, depression, and substance use. I’ve worked with both individuals and groups, always with compassion and respect.

I bring all of that experience into my work as a therapist. I believe we all have the strength to heal and grow. I would be honored to be part of your journey.

What People Are Saying

“I think the experience was great! I was a first timer to therapy, and I found it helpful for talking through and being introspective about myself and my ideas!”
