No matter what life has thrown your way, I believe that you are capable of being the best version of yourself.
Offering therapy sessions in Haitian-Creole & English.
During my 13 years of experience in mental health, I have held a passion for helping people navigate how they behave in relationships. Offering sessions in both Haitian-Creole and English, I understand that past or current relationships can have a significant impact on your life, and I’m here to support you as you work towards building positive and fulfilling relationships.
Together, we can explore ways to shift negative behavior patterns and develop more positive decision-making skills so that you can feel happier being around people. No matter what life has thrown your way, I believe that you are capable of being the best version of yourself. I’m here to help you on that journey towards self-discovery and growth.
Let’s work together to help you achieve your goals!
It takes imagination to envision a different future for yourself.
My approach to therapy is client-centered, which means that I focus on your unique needs and goals. I use a variety of evidence-based therapeutic models, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing, to help us work together to correct negative mindsets and behaviors. I believe that therapy can be restorative and empowering, helping us to strengthen our coping mechanisms and bring us closer to self-actualization.
Just to share a bit more about my background, I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Fordham University, where I specialized in Clinical Social Work. During my training, I gained invaluable experience in leadership and clinical focus in Social Work while working at the United Nations and a Family Shelter in Brooklyn.
I also have many years of crisis management experience working with children and their families.
