I am committed to creating a supportive, identity-affirming space where your unique experiences and perspectives are honored.
You and I will work together to understand your social, emotional, and physical needs based on your current and past experiences. Using what we discover about how your mind and body work, we will strengthen your overall sense of well-being, self-compassion, and confidence in ways that align with your unique needs. I actively build my skill set to understand the intersections of race, gender, sexuality, ability, and size to support you as thoroughly as I can.
I foster ongoing connections with queer initiatives in my area and have worked in a variety of settings with people in LGBTQIA+ communities. In therapeutic and domestic spaces, I have also worked extensively with children and adults who have autism, ADHD, or OCD. Using a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach, we can create a greater sense of safety and reach your therapeutic goals.
Together, we will strengthen your overall sense of well-being, self-compassion, and confidence in ways that align with your unique needs.
Depending on your wants and needs, I am comfortable providing exclusively talk therapy or a blend of talk and art therapy. I am currently in my final year of a Master’s program in Art Therapy at New York University.
If you are interested in making art during our sessions, I facilitate the use of a variety of mediums to help express emotions that can’t yet be put into words and to provide time for internal processing. Regardless of how our sessions are structured, I am committed to creating a supportive, identity-affirming space where your unique experiences and perspectives are honored, and where your journey toward healing and self-discovery is prioritized.
